Unlike Mindvalley, Udemy courses are easier to sell because of their prices and more personalized content. The average course price on Udemy hovers between $50-$200. However, the rates vary with the complexity of the courses.

Ahmad, Great post and great information. I have some more specific questions for you relating to my personal company and how affiliate programs can tie into it. Is there a chance we could talk sometime soon? I think you may have the answers to several of my questions on whether affiliate marketing is what I am looking for or not. And if it’s not what I am looking for I think you can direct me in the direction I need to go.
In affiliate marketing, one task that cookies manage is to remember the link or ad the visitor to a website clicks on. Cookies can also store the date and time of the click, they can even be used to remember what kind of websites or content you like most. There are many different types of web cookies and uses, but the kind of cookie affiliate marketing relies on is called a first-party cookie.
I’ve already committed thousands to AWOL(I’m 17 by the way) and I believe in quality products as such to promote. Do I need to purchase SFM training eventually? I am willing to do so, in order to stay congruent with diversifying income and promoting valued, justly priced products, just as the top earners do so. Please let me know what you can say about the terms of being an affiliate with SFM.
Make money from affiliate is not that easy especially when your website does not have enough traffic. So doing affiliate come along with the numbers of visitors too. That’s my thought. Thanks for the post Allbloggingtips.
They also have a lot of experience with affiliates and have lots of ways to keep both affiliates and publishers happy. For example, they have a joint venture program, which allows you to set up joint ventures with vendors, something you could also feasibly use for collaborative business deals.
I also wrote to eBay suggesting they create an Amazon Native Ads product- that would be the easiest way to actually monetize content with their offers using an Ad Inserter plugin- but I’ve read too many horror stories about eBay and affiliates to trust sending traffic to them, especially without an easy way to do so.
I think you might of misunderstood me I am not looking to promote my page, it is just a hobby really that grew quickly due to the need. I do this while I finish my degree in HR. I am looking to make money off of posting other people’s things on my page. Not to boost my page I have about 6k active users. I’m looking to sign up to affiliate programs.
Thanks for this great list. I’ve been involved with affiliate marketing in Denmark for the past few years, and looking to further expand my knowledge in this field. This list will help me expand this even further.
This is a big brand with a smaller product line, but it’s been around since (I think) the 90s, and their primary product is immensely popular? Commissions are 7%, but the average order is over $2,000.
888.com is a premium gaming destination and a well established name in the casino and poker circuit. Its site offers numerous sub-brands including 888sport, 888ladies, 888bingo, 888casino and 888poker, as well as ReefClub Casino. The 888 family of companies attract millions of players, and the company provides affiliates with frequent promotions to keep players interested.
For affiliate marketers, network services include a central database of available affiliate programs organized by category and popularity to choose from, a simple registration platform for those programs, reporting tools, analytics, and payment processing.
“ShareASale is solid. Been using them since 2013. Biggest problems with them is the interface is a little dated / wonky. It’s also difficult to deal directly with the advertisers. You think you’re speaking to an advertiser rep, but it’s really just someone from SAS. You have to use a special (hard to find) contact form to contact the advertiser….and it’s rare you get a direct response from them.”
Pay-Per-Click is also considered as widespread and common affiliate agreement. Under this agreement, the affiliate marketers will get fixed rates depending on the number of clients who click on the links placed on the affiliate website that leads to the merchant website. Here a purchase is not necessary to earn commissions, all that has to be done is that the client clicks the link and stays at least thirty seconds on the merchant website. Regardless of what the visitor does on the merchant site, this will not affect the commission.
You forgot my favorite affiliate network. Escalate Network. They have great offers, pay fast and the affiliate managers are helpful even on blog promotion as well as making the most out of offers they have. I would definitely add them to the list.
There are many affiliate networks. Many are easy to join. Some require you to apply and wait for approval. Some are by invitation only. Different affiliate networks provide different products so you’ll want to hunt around to find the one(s) that are the best fit for you.
“Tools I Use” or “Things I Love” page – Many readers enjoy seeing a handy list of your favorites, plus it’s an easy and excellent way to highlight some affiliate links. Here’s mine. Refer to any posts you have written about that tool / resource or include a description of how it has helped you.
A 29 year old high school dropout (slash academic failure) who sold his soul to make money from the Internet. This blog follows the successes, fuck-ups and ball gags of my career in affiliate marketing.
Additionally, they make it pretty easy to promote upsells and products that generate recurring commissions, and from my personal use, I’ve found the interface, user experience, and payments to all be pretty good.
At 1,500 merchants, they’re not quite as big as some of the other networks, but the selection is still respectable. That said, their primary sectors are finance, retail shopping, telcos and services, and travel.
I think this is a great find. I’d never heard of them, but they sell virtually all outdoor goods and have the best commissions in the niche: up to 10% on a volume-based tier model. Their cookie lasts 7 days.
My question is that my traffic comes from USA, UK and NZ. What affiliates are good for international blogs. Most affiliates are for the USA market. Most NZ’ers don’t buy from Amazon as the freight is too high.
The target website itself. (Websites that offer an affiliate program often have a link titled “affiliate program”, “affiliates”, “referral program”, or “webmasters”—usually in the footer or “About” section of the website.)
Hi Jennifer, you could target people in the “get a better job” space. This is the prime market for your offer. There are plenty of high-authority blogs out there in this niche and if you can partner with some influencers, you can see some amazing results. That said, it’s not as easy a 123. Your affiliate offer needs to be amazing. Your website should be beautiful, and your need to have a strategy for reaching out to these people in your industry. You can’t just send them an email and expect them to sign up to your affiliate program.
The choices I’ve listed above are the affiliate networks that I’m most familiar with. Most I use today or have used in the past. It’s hardly a complete list of all the good affiliate networks that are out there since there are so many. If you would like to share a network that you really like working with please list it in the comments section at the bottom of this page.

As far as affiliate programs go, Hayneedle is probalby one of the better general home goods stores out there. They list commissions at 3%-8%, but CJ lists 8%, which may indicate payouts are on the high end of that spectrum. The cookie duration is 30 days.
Given that I am still in reading and preparation phase, I am mainly interested to overlap my niche with real life interests so I could have motivation to produce content on regular basis. Two that I am highly interested are PC parts and Fitness. I am aware they are too general subjects with lot of sites doing the same, but my idea is to produce constant review on PC parts, Laptops, Mobile devices, Accessories all in different categories, create lists like top5 or 10 under XX budget etc. Similar approach I would use if I I decide to go with Fitness path and divide content training advice, review of fat loss methods, supplementation, nutrition etc. I am aware that this will be a long journey and that it can pass few months before sales start to kick in and that’s the risk I am ready to take. My questions are:
Google Affiliate Network is a pay-per-action network that pays commissions to its affiliates for driving conversions (sales or leads). The network requires a Google AdSense account for posting ads to the affiliate’s website or blog and facilitating affiliate payments.
Affiliate networks are good for publishers because publishers can find, sign up for and manage several affiliate programs under one umbrella (the affiliate network). Also, companies typically are monitored by the network which gives affiliates peace of mind.
SID (shopper ID) enables publisher to track where their referred actions originated so they can target and/or reward their unique shoppers. When the visitor makes a purchase or completes a lead form, that transaction is tracked and recorded by Commission Junction.
The network also took the number-four spot in the 2012 Blue Book of Top 20 CPA Networks, for its high popularity, great staff, and excellent platform. PeerFly accepts publishers from all over the world and offers thousands of merchant programs.
Bloggers can earn up to 10% in advertising fees with this trusted e-commerce leader’s affiliate program. Affiliates can join Amazon Associates for free and choose over a million products to advertise to the visitors of their website or blog.
If you’re a newbie to building sites, the easiest way to set up a site is by using WordPress. The WordPress CMS is very easy to use and while coding skills can come in handy, for the most part you will not require any tech knowledge to set up your site.
