Great resource – my favourite are Clickbank, Escalate, and CommissionJunction! You can basically find all the affiliate programs you need with these three companies; although, they do have limitations (not great communication).
LinkShare offers over 2,500 affiliate programs and lets you choose whether to have every aspect of your affiliate channel managed for you or whether you would rather manage your own program using the company’s various service and support options.
Hey Jennifer, I don’t really know much about MOBE as I haven’t had personal experience myself but in terms of paying for a programs, i’ve had experience with the Six Figure Mentors. They teach people marketing and entrperneurial mindset stuff that I found invaluable. They have a paid tiered membership system that can be promoted on an affiliate basis. What sort of affiliate business are you looking to set up?
For affiliate marketers, network services include a central database of available affiliate programs organized by category and popularity to choose from, a simple registration platform for those programs, reporting tools, analytics, and payment processing.
Dreamhost have been around for a long time and provide a variety of web hosting services from dedicated web hosting, VPS Hosting, managed WordPress hosting and shared hosting. Right now Dreamhost offer $97 commission for new customers.
Lifetime and “sticky” cookies mean you’ll be paid every time a customer you referred makes a purchase. In many cases, this still applies if someone cancels their membership and rejoins after a few months.
This is very interesting,I will give it a try..But I have a question,If I want to recieve payments from this web hosting company can I submit my bank account details or just use paypal account, which one is safe?
Gotcha, glad you got in at least. Guess that’s part of why Amazon was so attractive, they’ll take ANYBODY as long you can make a sale. I think readers are going to find it hard to get into alot of these programs listed.
Its management is just as confident that the sale will not affect Neverblue’s ability to meet its affiliates’ needs in any way. While this company tends to inspire high confidence among affiliates, you’ll have to decide whether to jump in now or wait a while to see how things go after the sale.

Finding the right affiliate program is essential to your success but equally as important is the value you bring to the table. If you take the time to create content that’s epic and impactful for people, you’ll find it much easier to succeed.
WorkoutWarehouse is a fitness equipment retailer with a surprisingly generous commission rate, especially considering how expensive equipment is. Commission starts at 8% and goes all the way up to 11%.
Ask for VIP (sometimes called “tiered”) commissions. Many affiliate programs have different commission levels. Usually the standard commission level is made public, but higher commissions are offered to higher performing affiliates. Sometimes you may be bumped up to “VIP affiliate” status by the advertiser, but most times you have to ask if there’s a higher tier and how you can get there.
You don’t necessarily have to have a huge site or lots of traffic. Consider emailing an affiliate program’s contact person (look for contact info on the site or in affiliate newsletters) if you send a lot of leads their way, rank well in the search engines for a related keyword or have a high conversion rate. Make your email compelling. Read my tips here. You just have to be a good fit and provide excellent value to the merchant. Another good resource for this is here.
When I first started, my overwhelming (and totally naive) impulse was to fill my pages with words and links that screamed “BUY THIS NOW!”. I didn’t help the reader learn why they should have this product. I only wanted them to click a link which would hopefully lead to a commission for me.
Thank you for you excellent post to make money with affiliate marketing. it is really helpful for me to understand the real-ground of affiliation marketing and make some extra money from them. i would like to replicate your process step by step.
Simply put, affiliate programs, also called associate programs, are arrangements in which an online merchant Web site pays affiliate Web sites a commission to send them traffic. These affiliate Web sites post links to the merchant site and are paid according to a particular agreement. This agreement is usually based on the number of people the affiliate sends to the merchant’s site, or the number of people they send who buy something or perform some other action. Some arrangements pay according to the number of people who visit the page containing their merchant site’s banner advertisement. Basically, if a link on an affiliate site brings the merchant site traffic or money, the merchant site pays the affiliate site according to their agreement. Recruiting affiliates is an excellent way to sell products online, but it can also be a cheap and effective marketing strategy; it’s a good way to get the word out about your site.
If you are happy with the intermediate earning bracket, then likewise, you can afford to avoid direct buys and risky investments but you will probably need to advance beyond the low-risk pockets of profit favoured by newbies.
The volume is sponsored by Adsimilis, one of the top networks for CPA affiliates. Adsimilis has hundreds of top offers (specialised in dating), with industry-leading payouts, and international coverage. Get onboard and start making some money!
Affiliate marketing has grown quickly since its inception. The e-commerce website, viewed as a marketing toy in the early days of the Internet, became an integrated part of the overall business plan and in some cases grew to a bigger business than the existing offline business. According to one report, the total sales amount generated through affiliate networks in 2006 was £2.16 billion in the United Kingdom alone. The estimates were £1.35 billion in sales in 2005.[15] MarketingSherpa’s research team estimated that, in 2006, affiliates worldwide earned US$6.5 billion in bounty and commissions from a variety of sources in retail, personal finance, gaming and gambling, travel, telecom, education, publishing, and forms of lead generation other than contextual advertising programs.[16]
Regarding “convincing someone to buy your product is not that easy”, I do agree with you, but at the same time, I remember all those products I’ve bought online. I did not search on Google for those products neither I went to the company websites to get information and buy. They were affiliate people and their blogs that inspired to buy them. PrettyLink Pro, SEO Pressor was recommended by Kimberley, I bought Profits Theme, WP Zon builder because Alex Whaley recommended. Similarly I bought CommentLuv Premium because Ileane, Kavita, Steve and many others were talking good about it.
MaxBounty has a pretty good reputation because of its strict monitoring and approval processes. They’re quick to ban any affiliates involved in spamming or any other activities against their terms & conditions.
Of course, the primary disadvantage is that Skimlinks is going to want a small cut of the business, so you’re not going the get the rates you’d normally get from the merchants directly most of the time.
Glad to have seen all of this Ahmed! I’ll definitely try some of those on your list! I’ve also heard of Alibaba affiliates, are they for real? Do they really pay 7$ per lead? Just asking, since you’re more experienced when it comes to all these affiliates thing…
Said to be the largest affiliate marketing network in North America (though it operates globally) and claiming the number-two spot in the 2012 Blue Book of Top 20 Affiliate Networks for being “the best at balancing the relationship between the merchants, the network, and the affiliates,” California-based Commission Junction, owned by ValueClick, Inc., offers affiliate, media, and tracking services and provides either a self-management or company-managed option for your affiliate relationships.
Amazon Kindle “Affiliate Marketing Beginners Luck 2013” is a great resource book to check out. It teaches about selling on numerous affiliate sites, creating reviews, sales letters and buying wholesale products..even includes links to verified contacts.
Keep a promotional calendar. You probably have an editorial (or content) calendar to help keep track of the content you will create. Likewise, use a promotional calendar to keep track of affiliate offers you will promote. I prefer to use my promotional calendar first and then align my editorial calendar to it.
Thanks so much for your awesome feedback! Im so pleased this post has inspired you to create your own promotions for products/services, that’s what this is all about. Seeing messages like this inspires to create more great content for all of you to help you achieve your goals.
ShareASale actually just modernized their interface in the past couple days- much nicer now. I’ve been experimenting with Jet, Walmart, and more recently NewEggg, against Amazon. Amazon destroys them.
FlexOffers.com is a premiere affiliate network that builds mutually profitable relationships between strategic, skilled, and trustworthy online publishers and a robust portfolio of 5,000+ popular advertisers spanning all verticals. If you take the median of this small sample ($81,000 to $120,000), it translates to between $221/day and $328/day in profit. I would put this at the very start of the Intermediate bracket, partly because the income has to be sustained over the course of a year. And this bracket is where most established affiliates stay.
While affiliate marketers are generally able to join affiliate networks for free, merchants usually have to pay a fee to participate in the network. Affiliate networks usually charge an initial setup fee for each merchant and often a recurring membership fee. It’s also common practice for affiliate networks to charge merchants a percentage of the commissions paid to affiliates. This percentage is known as an ‘over-ride’ and is payable on top of the affiliates commissions. But make no mistake about it, despite these fees, the benefits to the merchant for joining these networks is well worth the price. Here’s why…
Cryptocurrency is a digital asset that works as a medium of exchange that uses cryptography to secure its transactions, control the creation of additional units and verify the transfer of assets… (more…)
Hey Ahmed, great value share, I must admit. Your explanation on the affiliate program connected to Six Figure Mentors was fascinating, but since you’re a fairly direct source, please explain to me how promoting their products works.
FriendFinder is an adult-friendly network of dating websites that has a terrific affiliate marketing program, both in terms of customer service and commission rates. Because they rely heavily on affiliates to recruit new members, they treat their affiliates like true business partners. They have a solid reputation for payment and security, and have frequent special offers. Checking into your affiliate account at FriendFinder is always a fun experience, and often a profitable one.
Great, practical tips. I especially like #8. I went through much the same thing when pricing my ebook. It goes to show you that who you’re marketing to, their life style and values all have an impact.
PS: Too late to comment on your post, but i would just like to say that THANK YOU (A BIG THANKS), for creating such a wonderful tip with us. I read it, and couldn’t stop myself to write a short comment on this.
Amazon does not care that products are put in the wrong category which in part is because Amazon may not allow a seller to use certain categories that are actually the appropriate ones for the products being sold by seller.

To sum it all up, making your first affiliate commission requires a bit of work but if you break it all down and follow it step by step, it won’t seem so overwhelming at all. Here’s a quick recap of what you need to do:
Thanks for the wonderful article and moreover the links to create landing page were pretty helpful. But one thing you mentioned above “Reaching 100 visitors daily isn’t much hard for any of you.” Sir, it is easier said than done.
Affiliate marketing programs typically work by having the merchant handle all the logistics involved in selling products or services, processing customer orders and payments, and shipping merchandise—all while the affiliate sits back and collects a commission for each agreed-upon action completed by the visitors the affiliate sends to the merchant’s website via an affiliate link. As long as the affiliate has done her homework and chosen a trustworthy affiliate program, she needn’t worry about non-payment.
Advertisers prefer affiliate networks because they manage everything from recruitment to payouts on their behalf, while marketers prefer them because of their reliability, range of products and ease of use.
The Shopify commission structure runs far and wide thanks to a variety of products you can promote. If you own a web design company or agency, development stores are an awesome way to build your recurring commissions.
Could you give us a little insight into how you promote those types of programs? Do you use an e-mail funnel; give away a lead magnet, then provide value e-mails and slowly convert them through e-mail marketing or do you have some other strategy.. like sending people to advertorials?

Perrin, you tired me out just thinking about the organising and writing this monster. What about isolating those programs that specialise in recurring income eg Boxes. Is it difficult to become and an AA these days. More importantly is it worthwhile going out on this arduous journey with a landlord that seems to want to do you over at any opportunity. Thanks
